The Spring meeting was well attended, with about 15-20 people showing up.

Some of the details :

1. Two race series this year.
2.  Spring series from early May until late July.
3. Fall series from September until the end of October.
4. Saturday Open Track days in August.
5. Wednesdays =Open Practice Days   ————–   Saturdays = Track Work (afternoon)  /  Races (late afternoon/evening)
6. First Practice Day  – Saturday, May 5th
7. First Race — Saturday, May 12th
8. RVKC is buying a Huber grader  — grader training sessions for everybody
9. Timing Tower is going to be moved to new part of track.
10. Pit Area will be increased in size to include the “lower Mini Indy area”
11. A well is going to be dug for track watering.
12. Weight Rules to increase: 9 HP Class minimum= 335 pounds  ———–  Modified Class minimum = 400 pounds
13. Lights are going to be installed in trees =  More racing at night   (when its cooler and less dusty)
14. Memorial Day Race to be held in memory of Kevin’s dog, Taz.
15. Standing Starts with a widely spaced grid to be used all season.
